Our Roots in Hospitality
With over two decades in hospitality — from running cafés to learning the craft of roasting — I’ve come to appreciate that a truly great cup of coffee begins long before
it’s brewed.
With great knowledge passed down and years of experience, I’ve learned the importance of consistency, balance, and understanding what people look for in their
daily cup.

Where It Shifted
Stepping into roasting gave me a deeper respect for the beans themselves — how careful sourcing, thoughtful roasting, and small-batch attention can bring out the best in every coffee.
Catalyst Brew Coffee began as a personal turning point.
After years of working with other roasters, I wanted more control over quality and transparency — to know the people growing our beans and to share their work with you.

Our Commitment
I left café ownership to focus on roasting full-time, working closely with farmers and sourcing ethically grown specialty coffee you can feel good about drinking.
We roast in small batches to ensure consistency in every bag and to highlight the unique character of each coffee.
For me, roasting isn’t just about flavour; it’s about respecting the work that goes into every harvest and honouring it from the farm all the way to your cup.
